Day off

After a long hiatus I'm back again. It's been almost two whole years since I last wrote something, and I hadn't realized I missed it until I reread some old posts the other day.

Today is my day off from work and I've been looking forward to some relaxation time. I hoped I would be able to catch up on some sleep but failed yet again. Not that it wasn't expected. One would think I could at least wake up feeling energized since it's impossible to sleep longer than 'til eight in the morning, but alas, I wake up with a headache because I'm so tired.

So, what to do on a day off? Well, there is the pile of laundry waiting to be chucked into the washing machine (I actually don't mind doing the laundry). Also thought I'd actually cook dinner for once. It doesn't happen often lately as I'm usually too tired, too hungry, or get home too late to prepare something more advanced than a bowl of Kelda's thai soup.
Will probably finish reading Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban today. I wonder how many times I've read the whole series by now... I haven't been keeping track....
